Keyword Density For Google Panda

With the latest changes in Google Panda it is a trick to find the right amount of keywords required to get to the top of Google through a proper on-page optimization plan. The present Google update has very tight filters is what has shaken the blog community.

The truth is that Google has changed the liking for links. The on-page optimization factors do not change as of now. So said there is no need for you to revise the keyword density that you may require to rank higher in Google.

A keyword density of 5-6% would be just fine for any site to rank well with Google.

How To Use Keywords To Build High Traffic Blog

Keywords are the basic means for building a high traffic blog. Search engines bring a major amount of the traffic to our blog freely and rely heavily on the keywords and keyword phrases in our post for ranking us in their indexes. Search engine optimization is fundamentally all about playing with the right keywords and building a few links with proper anchor texts containing the right keywords which will give your blog some quick high traffic.

It is always advisable to run blogs which are very keyword specific. Target a keyword phrase at first using a good keyword research tool. keep on posting articles and the blog will gain popularity provided you provide unique search engine optimized content. This is the bare basic requirement for building a high traffic blog. After all it just takes a few minutes to get the right keyword suggestions which are not yet targeted by anyone on the Internet so far. The rest of the game is much easier after the research part is over.

Use the least competent phrase as the title of your blog. Though this will not give you a high traffic but it will definitely give you a good start. Add a few posts, build proper links till you get a good traffic of at least fifty visitors per day. Many webmasters say that you need at least twenty posts to have a successful blog. If that is the case, how come I came across a blog which had only one post and got a traffic of at least five hundred visitors per day? Because it topped the Google search results for a search term which was not targeted by other competitors. The reason why anyone writes a blog is because he knows a few things very well and he wants to share the same with the whole world through a proper channel.

Updating your site too often brings a good quick traffic. I have tried it and yes it works. It works really very well. Update ten posts and you will find Google sending you fifty people to your blog. According to Google a proper well built blog should have at least 250 posts. You got the answer, prepare for those posts now if you want your site to be recognized as a standard site by Google. Google loves content. It is content and not keywords which give traffic to the article directories. Most of the sites like Digg, Facebook and Orkut are loved by Google because their content keeps on changing very often. And of course the content is unique too.

Smaller blogs need to have a good SEO strategy. If you are not good at SEO let someone else handle that job for you. Links and keywords are all that are needed to win the Google game. Use keywords properly and the links will automatically come at a later time with proper anchor texts. You need not search for getting keyword specific anchor links to your site on other sites. Just use the right keywords properly and build a few links through a few high PR sites (link directories or article directories or even social bookmarking or social networking sites). You will see the results very quickly in the form of increasing traffic statistics.

Keyword optimization basically deals with using the right set of keywords for the right blog. If you win the first part, the site just goes viral. One thing which is most important for having a high traffic site is a proper search engine optimization plan. Later you just need to tell Google that you are live and it takes care of the search engine optimization part. I don't know if you see Matt Cutts blog or not, but, that's what he suggests to the webmasters: use the right set of keywords, build a few links and let the site go viral. Traffic automatically comes in for a good site which has keyword rich content. But, rather than having a high traffic blog it is more better to have a blog which gets targeted visitors. Keyword is the only way using which you can build a good quality blog which gets high traffic of targeted visitors.

How To Avoid Getting Banned For Keyword Spamming

In order to avoid your site from getting into the keyword spam category follow the following ten golden rules:

  1. Do not let the keyword density of your blog posts be greater than 7%.
  2. Do not go on doing comment spamming (it is the easiest way of getting your site banned from Google).
  3. Do not let the anchor texts have the same keyword phrases being repeated time and again. Tell Google about all the different keyword phrases you want to target for, by using different keyword phrases in different anchor text links. Anchor texts are the best way to tell Google about the exact keyword phrase you are targeting.
  4. Do not post two titles having nearly the same meaning or the same content. Search engines do not like it.
  5. Do not use your main keyword more than three times in your meta tags.
  6. Do not use primary keyword more than two times in the title of your post.
  7. Do not use the same site description for link building while submitting your site to the link building directories.
  8. Do not repeat your keyword in the anchor text: it looks odd and is definitely not accepted by the search engines.
  9. Do not link to your site two times from the same webpage (it is not a spam, but it does not help you in any way).
  10. No need to repeat the keyword many times in the URL.
Getting your site recognized as a spam is the worst thing you can do to yourself and to your blog. Overuse of keywords is also not necessary as it is not going to help you in these times as it did a decade back. The main thing is to have a professional blog and to keep it updated all the time. The more you update your blog, the more will it be loved by Google. The main keywords phrase of your blog should repeat at least a few times in every post. Surprising enough, when a topic becomes viral, Google itself does the link building part for it. Every blogger has this experience in his blogging career.

Follow the above ten golden rules and you are absolutely safe in your blog journey. The thing Google loves the most is to see the content of a site changing all the time. Google is like the Hutch dog, you just need to use the right biscuit to make it come closer to you and get friendly (that's what most of the SEO ebooks say). Not to forget that again it is sensible use of keywords and proper on-page optimization that gives the initial push to your site in the Google organic search results. You push the keyword trick a little higher and Google punishes you very badly. Additional suggestions which can help webmasters avoid the keyword spam can be left behind in the comments section.

What Is Keyword Spam

In earlier times when people came to know about a flaw in Google's algorithm, people started something which Google later called as keyword spamming. Webmasters then came to know that by stuffing too many keywords into their post they could easily come to the topmost posts of Google. But, what about the readers reading the blog. Nobody would love to read a page which had nothing to do with what they were searching for on the web and instead consisted only of keywords stuffed throughout the topic.

After this, Google has today tightened its filters so much that even if you are not included in a intended spam, Google may possibly recognize your site as a spam site. However, there was one more thing which bothered Google. Webmasters had started putting too many keywords in their post and they matched the color of the keywords to the background color of their blog. And this really irritated all the major search engines.

Unfortunately, with the introduction of the spam filters, it is not the spammers who are getting banned by Google, instead it is the newbies who have just started SEO with their blogs who are getting banned. Black hatters do keyword spamming even today. They know that they will get caught some day, but, hey, they build too many mini sites using the spam methods known to them.

Why Keyword Research For Beginners

Why is keyword research always suggested for beginners? If done properly keyword research pays off very well. First the keyword for the title of your blog, then for your URL,s then for your blog posts. It is keyword research I am speaking about. The reason is simple: it's free. But, if done properly and intelligently, the whole web is yours to enjoy. And the best part: keyword research has become very easy with the introduction of the keyword research tools that are available freely online.

With so many free keyword research tools blooming in the webmaster's world, it is not much difficult to choose a good one. The one by Google is my favorite. Whenever you think of a keyword do some keyword research and you will get at least twenty five topics at hand (leaving apart the competition stuff).

The next thing which helps you in keyword research is: you get to know about the competition and the number of competitors. If you are so bored and do not like going through a keyword research tool try entering the term in the Google search engine and see the number of results. If the number of sites is greater than a million forget about it, target the one which does not have so many sites competing for it. Anything till 25,000 is just fine.

Do not forget to put the main target keyword in the main URL. Once this is done, build the blog with keywords spread uniformly throughout the blog, making your site look less like a spam site. By the time you write a few hundred posts you will already be enjoying some one-way free back links. There are many people out there who respect creativity and research. Next, just search for sites related to your field and try to build a few quality links. Using comments is not much advisable. Use the article directories instead. remember: a blog is never a hit till it goes viral.

Why Do Webmasters Give So Much Importance To Keywords

You must have heard many webmasters stressing on the need and importance of keywords. Why does every SEO ebook start with keywords? There are a few simple facts about keywords which many webmasters have learnt and experienced. The simple matter of fact is: if you have learnt how to use keywords properly you have already become an SEO expert.

Google loves keyword rich sites. Keywords are always stressed about in every SEO ebook at the very first few chapters of the book because: it is easy to learn, easy to follow and the results are also very quick. Of all the things SEo deals with, if you achieve perfection in the keyword theory you can actually rank very well in Google for the exact keyword or keyword phrase that you have been targeting for through your blog.

Keywords are a great fun provided you get to see the forth coming results in Google. Play with them till you get perfect and you will find traffic and one-way backlinks coming all the way to your site and this doesn't need much effort from your side. Remember a blog is a great research put forth by you freely to the world in front of you. But what if no eyes turn towards your creation?

If an article is keyword rich and well informative the links are built automatically. You do not need to go all around the web world searching for back-links to your site (which in most of the cases are generally useless). The best thing you can do in order to get noticed is to build links to your site using the article directories. The directories will tell you to keep the keyword density low, why? Because they do not target any specific keyword in particular. Article directories get a major part of their traffic because of the frequently updated content on their site.

Keywords bring you a targeted audience which is much benevolent for you and for your sponsorers equally. It has been found that keyword specific sites get sponsorers and advertizers very easily. repetitive keywords also help the search engines to know what exactly you are speaking about. Google webmaster tools also deals with keywords. The whole internet has much to do with the search engines which in turn have much to do with keywords and keyword phrases. So that makes clear why keywords are so important in the SEO world.

Why USe Keywords

Why do we use keywords so much in SEO:

1. Because Google loves it.
2. It makes you site more search engine friendly.
3. It makes things much clearer and specific for the search engines.
4. It gives you higher rankings in the search results.
5. It helps us to get targeted visitors.
6. Conversion and CTR is great.

Actually search engines work on the keyword formula. The person who understands this clearly has passed half of the examination. The resta half is all about gathring information and updating your blog way too often.

In the rules given out to the webmasters, the importance of keywords has been highly stressed. Google wants the webmasters to focus much on building a quality website and let google do the rest. But, we humans are impatient. Link building gives very quick results no doubt, but, hey- even link building needs you to have keywords stuffed in the anchor text.

Keywords help the webmasters in dominating Google, it helps Google in maintaining a good search result index and finally it helps the visitors to search our site and of course help us (the webmasters) in earning a living out of it.

There are many webmasters who never did any SEO and are dominating Google just with the help of a proper keyword optimization strategy. Yes, Google loves quantitative and quality efiicient sites. But how much can a single person write? We just need to do what Google loves. After all, it brings both money as well as fame to our pockets!
